Applications in IT, server or network technology that are in constant operation are particularly demanding, as is medical technology with its demand for absolute reliability or applications in frequency converters, inverters for solar power or power supply units, which require robust and durable components. Fan specialist ebm-papst now offers a solution for these requirements: the new 92×92×32 mm fan 3300 N provides an air flow of 133 m³/h with an increased pressure of up to 120 Pa. Depending on the configuration, the fans work on 12, 24 or 48 VDC operating voltage. The robust and durable fan in an aerodynamically reworked housing combines an improved strut design with an operating noise which is approximately 4 dB(A) lower than its predecessor. The motor, which has also been optimised, is both highly efficient and has reduced cogging torque. This means that the fan generates much lower structure-borne noise in operation, a benefit which cannot be overlooked when installed in high-value devices. The fan is also available in the IP 54 configuration for use in tough operating conditions with high environmental stresses.
