ebm-papst continues as a Founding Partner at the Travelers Championship to benefit regional charities in 2016

ebm-papst is proud to announce its attendance again this year as a founding partner at the Travelers Championship, a PGA TOUR event for the 10th consecutive year. Starting in 1996, ebm-papst first initiated involvement with the tournament as a Blue Sponsor. In our growth as a company and tournament sponsor, ebm-papst has given back to community.

Annually, the Travelers Championship donates 100 percent of all proceeds to numerous regional charities. In 2015, records were set when $1.565 million was raised for over 140 different charities.

Speaking on the Travelers Championship is Mark Shiring, President & CEO of ebm-papst Inc., “We greatly value our partnership with the Travelers Championship. The tournament is great for those involved, the fans and spectators, and most importantly, the local community. The tournament contributes to our local charities and ebm-papst is proud to be part of it.”

Taking place from August 1st – 7th, at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell Connecticut - The Travelers Championship is an event you will not want to miss.
