Summary: | This position is responsible for providing technical application assistance and clarification for customers, Sales and Customer Service personnel. |

- Serve as the primary technical communication link with customers to ensure customer needs are met.

Job Title: | Market Development Engineer – Appliance & Heating Markets |
Summary: | This position is responsible for market development, customer support and project coordination relating to applications in the Appliance & Heating markets. The individual should possess a strong understanding of the theoretical and practical applications of premix combustion technology in systems, components, and OEM appliances. Primary focus will be on premix ready combustion air blowers utilizing EC motor technology, pneumatic gas-air ratio control gas valves, and digital burner controls for residential and commercial high efficiency condensing boilers. In addition, a clear understanding of hydronic circuits and their control strategies would be desirable. |

Commercial Responsibilities: |
- Travel – Up to 50% travel to customers, trade shows (North America & Europe), and industry trade meetings.
- Sales – Coordinated sales calls with local ebm-papst field sales for new and existing product promotion and support.
- Market – Development of market, accounts, and products through literature, trade show, and industry meetings.
- Support – Assist customer service, purchasing, marketing, and application engineering with product information for sales orders, purchase orders, website, catalog, and technical training.
- Administrative – Submit monthly project, visit, and development reports, travel expenses, and maintain factory price lists.

Technical Responsibilities |
- Systems – Select blower, gas valve, and control components for appliance and heating applications.
- Components – Provide installation instructions for blowers, gas valves, and control components.
- Support – Troubleshoot blower, gas valve, and control components in applications remotely and on-site.
- Development – Identify, coordinate, manage system and/or component projects with customers and factory.
- Training – Provide in-house training to application engineers, customer service, and field sales.
- Testing – Provide direction and support as needed to complete in-house customer appliance or component testing.
- Production – Provide direction and support as needed for development, manufacturing, and quality of value added assemblies.
- Administrative – Coordinate maintenance of product information on the company intranet for sales and engineering activities.

Summary: | This position is responsible for managing the sales activities of a given territory to meet or exceed sales forecasts. |

Summary: | This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment, primarily the customized assembly machines for Motor Production Lines. |

- Receive verbal instructions from supervisor.
- Perform basic to advanced machine repair and maintenance.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Fabricates custom repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Lift or move up to 50 pounds and climb up to a height of 50 feet.
- May be exposed to minor risk of electrical shock in the repair of electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Recommended Education and/or Experience: | Technical School Degree (2 years) in Industrial Technology with a concentration and knowledge of electrical circuits, electronic device basics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC programming
Minimum three to five years related machine repair and maintenance experience. |
