Farmington Company Receives ISO 14001 Registration

ebm-papst Incorporated, the market leader in the fan and blower industry, has successfully received ISO 14001 registration to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 14001 is a set of management systems and policies that are implemented to ultimately reduce harmful effects to the environment. Obtaining the registration indicates the Company’s Environmental Management System (EMS) complies with internationally set standards. ebm-papst adds this distinction to their ISO 9001 program. Company Quality Manager and ISO 14001 Management Representative Jack Derewonko, stated, “Our customers can be confident that their products come from an environmentally-friendly and quality driven process. While we have always practiced environmentally safe measures in our factory, it was time to put a structured ‘green’ management system into effect.”
