ebm-papst Inc. introduces the W1G200-E series: energy saving axial fans. This addition to the ebm-papst product line is a versatile alternative to traditional axial fans with shaded-pole motors for refrigeration applications. At three inches, W1G200-E series fans have a much shorter installation depth than conventional fans with shaded-pole motors. Retrofitting to larger openings is simple with an available mounting adapter ring, which increases the outside diameter by 20% and whose shape can be modified to avoid areas of interference in the application. The electronically commutated motor is programmable for two selectable speed steps, and can also be adjusted according to the application and ambient conditions in the field using a laptop PC. The W1G200-E series is appropriate for freezer cabinets, ice machines, reach-in coolers, condensers, and food display cases.
